This playhouse was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for the Kosaka Mine.
It was stopped to use in 1970 due to its deterioration. After the ownership was transferred to Kosaka Town in 1985, a large-scale repair was carried out.
So it is still used as the playhouse today.
