This building was built in 1912 as the factory of Jomo Twisting Thread Co., Ltd.
The factory was sold to Nakajima Aircraft Company　in 1943. After World War II, it operated as a factory of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. Tha car, SUBARU 360 was produced at this factory.
In 2001, the factory was closed, and the building was demolished.　A part of the wall was installed as a monument.
