Former the Salvation Army Headquarters (Former location: Chiyoda Ward)



This building was built in 1928. It was designed by Sone Chujo Architects and constructed by Shimizu Corporation.
In 1940, the Salvation Army was interrogated by the military police and forced to disband. It was reorganized as the Japan Salvation Army and joined the Christian Church of Japan the following year.
In 1946, it left the Japan Christian Church and rebuilt the Salvation Army.
The building was demolished about 1983.
