Former the Provision and Fodder Warehouse of 49th Infantry Regiment (Kofu City)
The building was built around 1909 as a warehouse for 49 regiments.
From 1949 it has been belonged to Yamanashi University.
In 2006, it was registered as a national tangible cultural property.
