Former Turuga Liaison Office of Kobe Animal Quarantine Branch, Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce (Former location :Tsuruga City)
This building was built in 1916 to quarantine cattle imported from Korea.
The quarantine station was abolished in 1963, after which it was managed by a lumber company.
After that, it was used as an office for an auto campground, but was demolished in 2010 due to its dilapidation.
The cattle scales used here are now on display at the “Minato Tsuruga Float Museum”.
