Harris Science Hall, Doshisha University ( Kyoto city )
This building was built as the Harris Sciencd School in 1890. When this building was completed, it had an astronomical observatory on the roof. The 1891 Nobi Earthquake made the observatory dangerous so it was removed.
The building was designated as a national important cultural property in 1979.
