Former Wakayama Prefectural Assembly Hall (Iwade City)



This building was built in 1896.
After being used as a prefectural assembly hall until 1938, it was moved in 1941 and used as a facility for an agricultural cooperative.
In 1962, the building was moved to the premises of Negoroji Temple and used as the temple's accommodation facility.
In 2012, the building was moved and restored, and in 2017 it was designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
