This school building was built in 1892.After the school moved in 1917, it was used as a village office, and next a junior high school. Furthermore, the uses was changed such as an apartment and a factory.
It was designated as a cultural property of Iwamimachi in 1975. However, looking at the photos, the building condition is not good, so it needs to be repaired if keep it in the future.
