Former Kurume Branch of Jushichi Bank (Kurume City)

This building was built as Kurume branch of Jushichi Bank in 1927. The Jushichi Bank merged with the other three banks to form Fukuoka Bank . This building became Sanbonmatsu Branch of Fukuoka Bank.
Kurume City purchased the building in 1967 and it had been used as a library from 1969 to 2010.
A Japanese restaurant bought the building in 2020. After earthquake-proofing and renovations, the restaurant was opened as a tavern in 2022.
