Museum Chouko-kan, Nabeshima Houkoukai Foundation (Saga City)

This building was built in 1927 as a museum displaying materials from the Nabeshima clan, the former lord of the Saga domain.
After the war, the building was requisitioned by GHQ, and after that it was used as the NHK Saga Broadcasting Station, then Saga Cultural Center.
It was registered as a tangible cultural property in 1997 and reopened as a museum the following year.
