Kashiragashima Catholic Church (Shin-kamigoto Town)




This church building was built in 1919.
It was designated as a national important cultural property in 2001.
In 2018, "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region" was registered as a World Heritage Site. "Kashiragashima Village", where the Kashiragashima Catholic Church is located, is one of the constituent assets.
