This building was built in 1930 as the Office of Takata Factory, Iwate Kenze Silk Reeling Co., Ltd.
"Suisen Shuzo" the SAKE brewing company had used this building from 1962.
The building suffered damage and lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
