Shizuoka Prefectural Office, the main building (Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City)




This building was built in 1937. Based on a proposal by Takeshi Yasui (1901-1997), who won the Shizuoka Prefectural Office Building Design Competition in 1934, Yoshihei Nakamura (1880-1963) designed the building.
The building was registered as a tangible cultural property in 2001.
