This building was built in 1928 as Yagi Branch of Rokuju-hachi Bank.
In 1934, Rokuju-hachi Bank was merged into Nanto Bank and this building was used a branch of Nanto Bank. But the branch was closed in a few years.
Then it was used as a movie theater from 1948.
Since 1963 to 2004 the bulding had been used as a branch of Wakayama Mutual Bank (later Wakayama Bank) .
Currently it is used as a wedding hall.
