Former Tomio Substation of Osaka Electric Railway Co.,Ltd (Nara City)

This building was built in 1914 as a substation of Osaka Electric Railway.
Though Osaka Electric Railway became Kansai Express in 1941 and then became Kintetsu Railway in 1944, this building was used until 1969.
After the substation was closed, it was used as a DIY store, then a restaurant, but it is now a vacant house.
In 2024, the owner of the building decided to demolish the building. Demolition of the above-ground portion was completed in June.
