Former Kobe Hankyu Building, East Building (Former location : Kobe City)
This building was built in 1936 as Kobe station building of Hanshin-Kyuko Electric Railway.
In 1995, this building suffered damage in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and it was demolished.
The station was operating in a temporary building, then in 2016, Hankyu Corporation has announced the plan to construct a new building. The plan is to recreate the image of the old building on the lower floors.
In 2021, the new building, 29 stories and 120 meters above ground, opened.
