Former "Kaiko-sha" of 11th Army Division (Zentsuji City)
"Kaiko-sha" is the organization of military officers' for fellowship and studies. This building was built in 1903.
From the end of war 1945, it was used as a social place hall for American and Australian troops.
After that, it was used as Zentsuji City Office, and community center. Then it was also used as the Zentsuji City Folk Museum from 1980 to 2004.
In 2001, the building was designated as a national important cultural property.
