Built in 1895 on Ogijima Island in Shiyujima Village, Kagawa County, to accommodate increased maritime traffic in the Seto Inland Sea. Designed by Yamamoto Yasaburo, an engineer of the Ministry of Communications. Tower height: 14.17 meters; light elevation: 12.4 meters above ground level. Characterized by its exterior walls made of locally sourced Aji granite, left unpainted.
