This building was built in 1914 as Kanzaki buranch of Koga bank. After the dissolution of Koga Bank in 1933, it was used as a clinic.
It was registered as a tangible cultural property in 2001.
Kanzaki City purchased the building, repaired it, and opened it as a regional exchange center in 2017.
