An edible miniature house made from gingerbread. Sometimes, sugar is used to express snow, and chocolate, marshmallows, gummies, and other sweets may be used. In German, it is said to be "Hexenhaus" or "Lebkuchenhaus". The original meaning of Hexenhaus is "witch's house", and the word that refers to the witch's house that appears in Grimm's fairy tales is sweets.
