A Catholic church built during the Spanish colonial period. Located in Miagao, Iloilo. The official name is Church of Santo Tomas de Villanueva.
The construction began in 1787 and was completed in 1797. Because of its role as a fortress, the walls were 1.5 m thick.
The front is decorated with reliefs. The upper center is said to be a coconut tree depicted as the tree of life.
In 1993, it was registered as a World Heritage Site together with other churches as "Baroque Churches of the Philippines".
