Obelisk Tomb and Bab Al-Siq Triclinium [Petra] (Petra, Ma'an Governorate)
Petra is the city that was built by the Nabataeans began to live here from the 3rd century BC around. In the first century BC, Nabataeans were under the rule of the Roman Empire, so many Roman style stone buildings were made. Almost buildings were made by carving a rock wall.
The buildings of this card, the lower half is "Bab Al-Siq Triclinium", the upper half is called as the "Obelisk Tomb", The two buildings are separate graves. Triclinium is built in the second half of the first century, the Obelisk Tomb was built in the era of the later than it. Triclinium is the place performing the ritual of the funeral or memorial service.
The city declined thereafter, poeple knows it again in 19th century.
