Basel Minster, Switzerland was a Catholic Church originally, now a Reformed Protestant Church.
The cathedral began to be built in the 12th century and was completed in the 13th century. However, it was severely damaged by the 1356 Basel earthquake.
Then the reconstruction was proceeded, with the North Tower completed in 1421 and the South Tower completed in 1500.
