Presidential Palace of Cabo Verde (Praia)



This building was built in Praia, the colonial capital, as the Portuguese Governor's residence during the Portuguese colonial period. It was completed around 1894.
When Cabo Verde gained independence in 1975, the building began to be used as the Presidential Palace.
