Mompox (Mompós) is the city build in 16th century. It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1995 as "Historic Centre of Santa Cruz de Mompox". There are buildings that were built during the colonial period.
Santa Barbara Church was completed in 1613. One of the famous church in Mompox. Although it did not reproduce with the card, the bell tower has a balcony.
