Former the warehouse of Tanno Chuoh Agricultural Association (Kitami City)
On the walls of two stone warehouses side by side, each has a name written on it. The one on the right reads “Tanno Chuoh Agricultural Association” and the one on the left “Tanno Village Agricultural Association.
The warehouses are said to have been built in 1932. But the warehouse on the left side must have been built after 1934, since the Tanno Village Agricultural Association was established in 1934.
After the 1970s, rice production was adjusted and the stone warehouse gradually fell into disuse.
In 2005, the area around the warehouses was developed into a park, and the right warehouse was opened as a community hall the following year.
