Former the headquarters of 9th Army Division (Kanazawa City)



This building was built in 1898 as the 9th Army Division Headquarters. It was used as the headquarters of Kanazawa University from 1949.
When it was relocated and rebuilt in 1968, the the building was shorten by cutting off the side parts.
In 2017, it was relocated again, for using as the National Craft Museum. The lost parts were rebuilt.
The Craft Museum is scheduled to open in October 2020.
