Luanda Cathedral is in Luanda, the capital of Angola. Also called Church of Our Lady of Remedies (Portuguese:
Igreja da Nossa Senhora dos Remédios). The construction began in 1655 (some say 1651) and was completed in 1679.
It fell into disrepair in the late 19th century, but was restored to its present form between 1880 and 1900.
