Church and Convent of los Dominicos (Santo Domingo)



The Dominican Church and Convent in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is the oldest Catholic church in continuous use in the Americas and was also the first university headquarters in the Americas.
Construction of the buildings began around 1510, the convent was completed in 1530, and the church was almost completed around 1532. The university was established in 1534.
