Pop-Up Cards (Buildings in Paraguay)

I finally updated the pop-up cards for world cultural properties sites.
Looking back, I realized the last update was in May, and I’m amazed at myself.

This time, the models are buildings and cultural heritage sites in Paraguay. Since I wrote an article about Asunción in September, I intended to feature only Asunción buildings on the pop-up cards. However, the card I created over the summer had been sitting unused, so I included it as well.

The photo above shows a card I made in summer featuring the bell tower remaining at the Trinidad Ruins, one of the Jesuit Missions sites.
This mission site is designated a World Heritage Site.
Back in summer, I planned to make several cards featuring buildings from the World Heritage mission sites, but since the churchs remain only walls, they were difficult to turn into cards, so the work stalled.

Later, I switched focus to buildings in Asunción and updated this pop-up card.
The two cards below are the ones I made this time.

This one is the House of Independence Museum.

Like the old Nagahama Station I posted in September, I made the roof a separate part so it can fold down. The top edge of the roof is glued, while the bottom edge slides while staying in contact with the walls.

The other one is the Palace of Government.

For details about the building, please see the work page.

While the bell tower card was easier to cut, the Palace of Government template turned out better than expected, so I decided to release this one instead.
If you’re interested, please give it a try.
The work page is here.
