This building was built in 1934 as Kosugi Town Office. After the relocation of the town office in 1976, it was used as a town library
Then it has been used as the Memorial Museum of Takeuchi Genzo from 2001. Takeuchi Genzo was a plasterer craftsmen that is famous of "KOTE-E" reliefs made by plaster.
