Pop-up card (the buildings in Yamaguchi Prefecture)
The pop-up cards have been updated.
For this time, I made two cards from the buildings in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The photo above is former the head office of Onoda Cement Co.,Ltd. The company has now merged and changed its name, and the building is used as the office of an affiliate of Taiheiyo Cement.
The next photo is the former San-yo Hotel. Before World War II, it was located in front of Shimonoseki Station and prospered, but after the station was relocated and the liaison ships were discontinued, the building was used as an office for Japan National Railways and then for construction company.
Due to its age and lack of earthquake resistance, the building was demolished in 2011 and no longer exists.
