Pop-up Card (the buildings in Fukuoka Prefecture)
The pop-up card has been updated
This time, I made two pop-up cards modeled of the buildings in Fukuoka Prefecture.
This photo shows the former Tobata City Office. Tobata City became Kitakyushu City in 1963 through a merger. After the merger, the building was first used as the city office building, then as the Tobata Ward Office, and now as the Tobata Library.
The second photo shows the former Kurume Branch of Jushichi Bank. After the Jushichi Bank was merged to Fukuoka Bank, it was used as its branch, and from 1969 it was the west branch of the Kurume City Library. The library has since moved to a new location, so the building is now appears to be vacant.
The pattern of the former Tobata City Office is available for download.
If the windows are too small to cut, it is easier to cut out several windows together as one large window. (Reference examples are written on the pattern.)
