Demolition of Old Koshoku City Office (in September)

2024-09-11

I went to check on the demolition status of the former Koshoku City Office for the first time in two months.
When I last visited in July, the main office building was in the process of being demolished, but this time there was nothing left of the main building.

The photo above was taken from the north. Only the south building, which is to be used as a fire station, remains.

Photo taken from the west.
The main building behind the fence is completely gone.

Walking further west, this photo was taken from the road.
The white building in the back is the NTT building located further east of the former city office.

The south building was connected to the main building by a corridor, but the wall of the corridor has been blocked.

This photo was taken from the east, although it was backlit.
I visited here on a Sunday, so no work was being done, but according to the sign on the fence, work is planned to be done on every Saturday in September.

From the east.
The former city office used to be located on the right side of this photo.

The demolition work of the former Koshoku City Office will continue with the foundation and other ground work, but since the building has disappeared, this will be the last article on the demolition of the former Koshoku City Office in my blog.

I will end with a photo of the former Koshoku City Office before its demolition. (Taken in February 2023)
