Pop-up Card (Buildings in Chiba Prefecture)

2016-10-30

The pop-up card has been updated.
This time, it features buildings in Chiba Prefecture.

The first photo shows the former Sawara Branch of Chiba Godo Bank . After Chiba Godo Bank became Chiba Bank, it was used as one of its branches. Later, it served as the Daihyaku Seimei Sawara Building for a period. Currently, it functions as an annex to a soba restaurant.

The second shows the former Inubosaki Foghorn House at Inubosaki promontry. This facility sounded its horn during dense fog to inform ships of the land’s position. As indicated by the “former” prefix, it ceased operations as a facility in 2008. This was reportedly due to the widespread adoption of ship radar and GPS.
Although it is an iron structure, research indicates the materials used were likely produced at the Yawata Iron Works. Consequently, it was registered as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property in 2014.

Regarding the template, I have made the one for the former Former Sawara Branch of Chiba Godo Bank available.
The indented areas around the windows might be a bit tricky to fold, but please feel free to use it if you like.
